Harvested at Dawn
The flowers are hand-picked in the early morning hours, just before sunrise, when their fragrance is at its peak. Once the sun rises, the blooms begin to lose their precious aromatic compounds, so timing is everything.
It takes thousands of individual blossoms to produce just a small amount of absolute, which is why genuine jasmine is among the most valuable materials in the perfumer’s palette.
From Field to Fragrance
After harvest, the flowers are processed quickly to capture their scent before it fades. Traditional extraction methods preserve the full character of the bloom — something synthetic substitutes can never quite replicate.
